The Robogate Saga Continues: Pierre Poutine Edition

"If the NDP actually has any information, we challenge them to give that information to the authorities. We have yet to see it and no reason to believe them," Harper said during today's question period in the House of Commons. Prime Minister Harper is standing firm denying any guilt in the ever expanding Robogate controversy.

But is the Conservative party innocent? Let's review the facts at the time this post was written, asked and answered.

Q: Who admittedly used Racknine robocalls in the 2011 federal election?
A: The Conservative Party of Canada.

Q: Which federal party admittedly called Racknine over 30 times during the 2011 federal election in Guelph?
A: Marty Burke's Conservative campaign.

Q: Who engaged Racknine's services during the 2011 federal election campaign with the express purpose of defrauding the Canadian electorate?
A: Pierre Poutine of Separatist Street, Joliette, Que.

Q: Who is Pierre Poutine?
A : We aren't sure yet, however, it seems that the investigation spearheaded by Elections Canada is close to figuring out the true identity of this criminal.

Q: Does The Conservative Party of Canada have anything to hide regarding the 2011 federal election?
A: Ask Pierre Poutine.

Since Pierre Poutine is not real and can't answer I will. The Conservative Party of Canada does have something to hide because some, many or all of their members have broken the law. If they did nothing wrong with regards to employing Racknine robocallers, why make the cowardly choice of hiding behind an alias? Easy, to avoid getting caught and be held accountable.

Let us hope that Elections Canada will find the perpetrator(s), prosecute and send a clear message that elections are serious business.
