Elections Canada has complaints from over 700 people, crickets chirp

Did anyone really think the flood of complaints that poured into Elections Canada were going to make a difference with regards to the 2011 federal election? 31000 complaints were made and only 700 are of a specific nature according to the venerable Elections Canada. Add to the fact that the identity of Pierre Poutine may remain anonymous for years, an electorate with the attention span of a hamster and you have a dead story.

Canada's chief electoral officer has offered to make an appearance in front of a parliamentary committee but we know that will never be allowed by a certain majority government. It pains me to declare that barring any earth shattering revelation down the road, the Robogate story is dead and judging by the Conservative's poll numbers, no one cares.
